I’m Belinda McCulloch—strategist, connector, and pivot-point for business and organisations as well as professionals 50+ ready to create what’s next.
My career has taken me from boardrooms in Melbourne to remote villages in East Africa, from global policy tables in Geneva to workforce development sessions in Central Australia and from expat communities in India to cross-cultural connection in Australia’s Outback and across the Asia/Pacific region.
What ties it all together? A deep belief in the power of purpose, courage, and connection to drive meaningful change.
I’ve worked across five continents over the past 30 years, leading initiatives in strategic engagement, social impact, regional and international development and business development and innovation. I’ve connected into United Nations forums on women’s and children’s rights, trained remote staff to turn local stories into advocacy campaigns, sensitively handled issues management and resultant media, and helped shape regional strategies to guide post-COVID economic recovery. I’ve written grants, undertaken program management, led teams, driven community consultation and guided planning, innovation and business development with First Nations communities, migrants and women as well as start-ups and general business.
Whether I’m facilitating stakeholder engagement, coaching mid to senior professionals in transition, or helping a business design their next chapter, I bring a wealth of experience through grounded strategy, inclusive thinking, practical action and a global-local perspective.
Originally from Adelaide, my career has taken me to live in Melbourne, Geneva, Mumbai and London, and since 2020 I’ve called Alice Springs, Central Australia home. I strongly see the connection between international development and remote/regional development, and love connecting the dots differently to be innovative in product development or service delivery, for business, not for-for-profit organisations and peak bodies.
